Hush Mini-Itx - Review 1

Review of the B-series mini-ITX, a favorite here at Dynapse Corp

The Hush Mini-ITX shows the world how practical, efficient design can coexist with style and class in a PC. Its designers have done what they have set out to do with great panache and success:

  • Small size
  • Low noise
  • High style
  • Ability to integrate into any environment

The Hush may not have the super high performance suggested by its lean, elegant understated exterior, but it was never meant to. It is the kind of machine that can easily turn into a fetish for those so inclined. It is a pleasure to behold and use. That this quiet PC has any kind of flaw at all is almost a relief. We know that the future generations will likely be even quieter with improved drive damping.

Hush Mini-Itx - Review 2

Review of the B-series mini-ITX, a favorite here at Dynapse Corp

A solid case with an excellent build quality. This case really adds something special to every room (especially living rooms!). I can [not] only recommend this system as an HTPC, but the fanless Hush Silent PC could also be used in an office environment (even though I feel this would be a waste given the system’s potential). Everyone who boots this system will be impressed by the lack of noise (which we are used to by now).

+ fanless, therefore it’s almost impossible to hear this system when it’s running
+ great design
+ very thin
+ excellent build quality
+ a PCI-riser card is included
+ great cable routing
+ silent hardware components (HDD & optical drive) which were chosen to allow the system to be very quiet
+ HDD can be swapped easily

Hush ATX - Review 1

Review of an ATX, very popular with our customers

The price for a basic, Celeron-powered Hush ATX starts at around £1,000, while our review model will set you back about £1,400. While this might seem a lot for a PC that doesn’t come with a monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse, it’s a premium worth paying. Just as you’d pay more for an overclocked monster, a premium for silence is also worthy.

Hush Media Center - Review 1

Media Center machines, very high end

Silent computing is my current mistress and I’m looking to spend a small fortune on her pleasure. It is precisely for this reason that Hush have done, and continue to do so well.…

There are plenty of DVRs out there to look at; crappy embedded things or Sky boxes or the less crappy TiVos, and plenty of PC-based solutions such as HP media towers and the like. As far as we’re concerned, Hush can be crowned king.
